I'm Amy Hamner and a teacher at Walker Elementary School. I am a graduate of Tuscaloosa County High and The University of Alabama.  I married my high school sweetheart and moved to the Samantha area after getting married.  My husband and I have a daughter and son that attended Walker, NMS and they are both graduates of NHS.  I've taught at Walker for many years. The only grades that I've taught are kindergarten, second grade, and first grade. I love teaching the lower grades and watching the students grow, learn and mature each year.  I'm so thankful to live, work and be a part of this loving community.
