My name is Hunter Harper and I have been at Walker Elementary for two years.  I graduated from Northside High School in 2011.  Upon graduation, I went to Shelton State for two years and then to The University of Alabama where I graduated with a degree in Physical Education.  I recently completed my master's degree in Physical Education through The University of West Alabama.  Before coming to Walker, I taught physical education at Vance Elementary School for three and a half years.  I also coach football at Northside High School.  I will be starting my third year with the program this year.  Before coaching at Northside, I coached at Hillcrest High School for three years and Brookwood High School for three years.

I have been married to my wife, Whitney, since December of 2018.  We have one son named Bayler who just turned two.  My mother, Tammy Harper, taught at Walker for 29 years and just recently retired.
