Hello! My name is Lynsey Skelton and I am so excited about beginning my 14^th year with TCSS! This will be my 5th year teaching fourth grade at Walker Elementary, and I can't wait to start another wonderful school year. 

I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, AL and attended the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!), where I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2009. After several years in the classroom, I continued my education online through the University of West Alabama, earning a master's degree in Library Science in 2013. 

My wonderful husband, Michael, works as a firefighter for the city of Tuscaloosa and we have two amazing children who also attend school at Walker. Our daughter Robbi Ann will begin 4th grade this year and our son Barrett, who will be in 1st grade. We truly are a Walker RAM FAMILY!
