Mrs. Shonda Chadwick
My name is Shonda Chadwick. I am the resource teacher for 3rd and 4th grade and this is my first year at Walker Elementary School. I have been a teacher for 22 years. My teaching career started in Shelby County where I taught at Montevallo Elementary School for sixteen years. My family and I moved to Tuscaloosa in July of 2016. I taught in Tuscaloosa City Schools for three years at MLK Elementary. In August of 2019, I transferred to Tuscaloosa County Schools and began teaching here at Walker Elementary. I am a graduate of Martin Methodist College and the University of Montevallo. I have a Masters Degree in Communication Science Disorders and started my first job as a resource teacher in August of 1999.
I have been married to Michael Chadwick for 25 years. We have three wonderful children, Anna Beth 21, Becca Leigh 18 and Landry 13. We attend Church of the Highlands and enjoy family time together. We are also a sports oriented family and can find us at the ballpark all year round. Being at Walker Elementary School is an absolute blessing and I'm honored to have the opportunity to work with such amazing teachers and students.
