Message for Brookwood High Families

  • February 22, 2024

    Dear Brookwood High Families,

It is with deep sadness that I inform you of the death of Chloe Caddell, one of our 11th grade students. Please join me in extending our heartfelt sympathy to Chloe’s family and showing them our love and support.

During this time of grief, a team of school counselors and social workers has been at the school to care for our students. These special individuals have provided counseling and support to our students, as well as to our faculty and staff. School counselors and social workers will be available for our students should they need additional support in the days ahead.

It is very difficult for any of us to face the death of a young person. Please help us by being aware of any significant changes in behavior or emotional state of your student. Ask your children how they are doing. We are here to support you and your student through this process.

Also, please remember our confidential Speak Up for Safety tip line. If you ever know of a student who needs help, or if you know of a potential threat to the safety of a student or to our school, please use the information below to alert someone who can help.

    Email address: speakup@tcss.net

Finally, life is precious, and we are not guaranteed tomorrow. I encourage each of you to tell your children, family, and friends that you love them. Do something kind for someone. Give a coworker or a friend a hug.

    Sincerely,

    Mrs. Kellie Hubbard

    Principal
