I grew up in a small town named Carrollton, Al.  I attended Carrollton High School and graduated in 1996.  I received a baseball scholarship to Wallace Community College where I attended for two years.  I then attended the University of West Alabama.  I received my bachelors degree in 2001.  A few years later I would receive my masters from UWA as well.  After college I married my beautiful wife, Julia.  We have three girls; Courtney, Hayley and Katie and live in Vance.  This is my first year at Brookwood High School where I will be teaching health.  This is my 18th year teaching/coaching.  I am in my second year as head softball coach.  I am looking forward to a terrific year in the classroom and on the field!
