• Let Mrs. Bentley or Mrs. Taylor know if you're interested in joining HOSA! Membership will be required to participate on field trips.  Membership is $20, but please let us know privately if you are unable to pay but wish to join. Lots of fun things planned!  Look over the chapter handbook if interested in becoming an officer.  Prepare a quick 1-2 minute speech about why you want to be an officer and what you intend to accomplish and how to be delivered at our first HOSA meeting.

Health Science has a Career and Technical Service Organization (CTSO) that will be incorporated into all of our classes. HOSA – Future Health Professionals, is an integral part of each student’s success and overall experience in our classes. Students will be expected to be active participants in the organization. This will include required meetings, participation in fundraisers, community service projects, state and regional competitions and other activities specific to HOSA.  Your student has the opportunity to build leadership skills while enhancing their education and providing community service.

Membership is $20 and provides membership to national and state HOSA.  Membership is required for both to be able to participate in competition and HOSA membership will be required to participate in field trips in Health Science. If a student is interested in joining and is unable to pay the fee, please speak with Mrs. Bentley or Mrs. Taylor privately and we will make arrangements so that everyone is eligible to join HOSA.

In addition to being a member of HOSA, Mrs. Taylor has started a BHS Sports Medicine Team!  You can join HOSA and become a member!  Speak with Mrs. Taylor for details!
