I am an alumni of Brookwood High School, The University of West Alabama, and The University of Alabama at Birmingham. While working as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at UAB, I covered UAB Indoor and Beach Volleyball teams. Post graduation, I became a high school outreach athletic trainer for Encore Sports Medicine in the Tuscaloosa area. After serving as the Certified Athletic Trainer at BHS for a year, I decided to pursue a teaching career in Health Sciences in the Career Tech Department. I have been married for 4 years, and we had our beautiful miracle baby girl in July of 2020.

I teach 10th-12th grade students in the Career Tech Annex. My courses are a part of the health science department and are beneficial to those who are seeking a career in the healthcare field. I am also the instructor for classes in the Sports Medicine Pathway. These classes will begin this Spring, and we are so very excited to have our first cohort of students joining us this year in the Sports Medicine field.
