This will be my tenth year teaching science at Brookwood High School.  I grew up in Wetumpka, AL.  I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE!).  After college, I was a camp director for five years at a residential summer camp and year-round environmental learning center.  It was during this role that I realized my calling was to teach young people about our incredible planet and all the natural resources it provides.  I went back to the University of Alabama to get my Masters in Secondary Education General Science, and I've been blessed to be teaching at Brookwood High School ever since.  It's great to be a Brookwood Panther!
