Hi, my name is Lisa Hembree. I love being a part of the Walker family as the Assistant Principal.
I grew up in Stone Mountain, GA and attended The University of Alabama. I have a bachelor’s in Special Education, Master’s Degrees from Western Michigan University and The University of West Alabama. I have been in education for 24 years, with 4 years serving as the Assistant Principal at Lloyd Wood Education Center and Walker Elementary. I have worked in Tuscaloosa County since 2003 as an inclusion teacher, behavior interventionist and administrator. Prior to Tuscaloosa County, I taught in Baton Rouge, LA and Atlanta, GA.
