Hi, my name is Julie Jones. I am excited about another great year at Walker Elementary School. I started this journey in education in 1998. I began my career at Huntington Place, then transferred to Northport Elementary School when it was opened. I transferred to Walker Elementary School in 2016. I love it here at Walker! #ramfam

My family lives in the Northside community. My husband and I have three children. Their names are Paige, Luke and Claire. When we are not in school or playing ball, we enjoy camping.

I grew up in Moody, Alabama. I graduated high school in 1994. Soon after graduation, I moved to Tuscaloosa and attended Shelton State. In 1996, I transferred to Samford University in Birmingham. In 1998, I earned my bachelor's degree in education. Ten years later, I decided to go back to school and earned a Master's Degree in Education from The University of West Alabama.

I have two sisters and a brother. Be careful if you think you see me in public....I have a twin and people say we look just alike!
