Hello! My name is Ashton Mason. I have been blessed to teach at Walker for TEN years!! I LOVE WALKER! I have taught second grade for six years and third grade for four years. I am so excited about starting my eleventh year at Walker in August! I thoroughly enjoy getting to teach children each and every day and watch them grow!  

I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and I graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School in 2006. I received a volleyball scholarship and attended Bevill State Community College, where I graduated in 2008 with an Associate in the Arts. Then, I attended the University of Alabama and graduated cum laude in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Education.

I live in Northport and I have been married to my wonderful husband, Jeffery, for eight years. We have two precious children. Rylee James is five and Rice is three. Our babies are exactly two and half years apart! I love my little family! We are active members at Chapel Hill Baptist Church. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, church, vacation, watching sports, and spending time outdoors. We also love to go camping as a family!
