    Bio
I've actually been teaching since I was five, if you count all those hours I pretended to be a teacher when I was "playing school." I've known since those days in the playroom, with the dolls lined up against the wall serving as my students, that I would be a teacher. My mom taught kindergarten, and she inspired me.

I graduated from Central High School, and, as a lot of kids from Tuscaloosa do, I headed right down the street to the University of Alabama. ROLL TIDE!!

After graduation, I taught for one semester at Hillcrest. My family moved away for seven years. I rejoined the Hillcrest family in 1997, and I've been here since. In my years at HHS, I've taught speech, English 9, 10, 12 (both regular and advanced), and Spanish I and II.
