    Bio

    My name is Ted Swinney.  I am a 2004 graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Secondary Mathematics.  I taught for 2 years in the Hoover City system at Spain Park High School, where I was also a coach for the JV and 9th grade baseball and football teams.  This will be my 14th year at Hillcrest and I am excited to be teaching Algebra II, Robotics and coaching softball.  I have been married for 18 years to my amazing wife Christie, who is also a teacher.  We have an awesome 10 year old son, "Coop".
