    Education
    Mrs. Farabee has her undergraduate degree in English from the University of Alabama.  Her master's degree is in secondary education from Augusta State University (Georgia).  She received her national board certification in December 2006 and renewed it in 2016.  She completed her Ed.S. degree in instruction and curriculum at the University of Alabama in 2015.
    Bio
    Susan Farabee has been teaching since 1996. She began by teaching 10th grade and 12th grade at Thomson High School in Thomson, Georgia. After moving to Tuscaloosa, she taught 7th grade through 10th grade at West Blocton High School before coming to Hillcrest High. Her hobbies include reading and spending time with her family. She was sponsor of Hillcrest's chapter of the National Beta Club for nineteen years.
