    Hello!
    I am happy to be at Hillcrest for my sixth year, after teaching theatre for twenty plus years with Tuscaloosa City Schools. We had a very successful and fun year in 2018-2019,with HHS Theatre, with two full-scale productions; "The Wizard of Oz" (musical), and "Steel Magnolias." 
    The students did an AMAZING job with these two shows, and we look forward to more productions this year.
     
    In January, we will produce the popular Broadway Musical, "Into the Woods."
     
    In February, our spring musical will be the hilarious Broadway hit, "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee." 
     
    In our theatre one classes, we learn about the world of theatre through a fun variety of activities, including improvisation, voice and diction, monologues, scenes, pantomimes, etc.
     
    It is going to be another great year for HHS Theatre!
