    2023-2024 Student Parent Information Guide

    Course Expectations 

    1. You must be sitting in your assigned desk and ready to work before the tardy bell rings.
    2. Bring supplies to class every day.
    3. Eating snacks, chewing gum, and drinking beverages (other than water) is NOT allowed during class.
    4. Do not ask for a pass out of class for any reason. No passes to restroom, locker, phone, or office.
    5. Follow all instructions, the FIRST time, given to you by the teacher.
    6. Listen attentively when someone is speaking to the class. Do not become a class distraction.
    7. There will be NO sleeping or putting your head down during class. Students must participate and complete assignments.
    8. When announcements are made over the intercom, EVERYONE will be silent. It may not be information you need, but someone in the classroom needs that information.
    9. Have good manners and show everyone respect.
    10. Always have a positive attitude in class.
    11. Remain seated until the teacher dismisses you at the end of the period.
    12. Follow all guidelines and procedures as outlined by Brookwood High School and the Tuscaloosa County Board of Education.
