Due to severe weather predictions for our area, the Tuscaloosa County School System will have an E-Learning Day on Friday, January 12, 2024. Students, faculty, and staff should not report to TCSS schools and offices on this day. All before and after school activities are canceled for January 12. The most up-to-date forecast for our area includes the threat of severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, and high winds during times when students and staff are traveling to school. High wind speeds can be particularly hazardous for school buses. 

Please watch for information from your student’s teacher(s) about assignments to complete for Friday, January 12. It is necessary for us to have an E-Learning Day so that we do not have to make up the day before the school year ends. Students who do not have internet or who may have power outages will be given time to make up assignments, if necessary.
