PowerSchool Transition Update

PowerSchool is the student information system that has replaced iNow. This is a state-level transition affecting every school system in Alabama, not just TCSS. 

Each school within the Tuscaloosa County School System now has the ability to activate the student and parent portal.  Please be on the lookout for information regarding this new feature.

The Student Portal access and Parent Portal access will be separated into two different accounts. The Student login access information will be given to each student, as individual schools roll out their activations. The Parent Portal access will be a separate process, and an entirely different account. Parents/Guardians should be on the lookout for information regarding this aspect of Parent Portal.

Each individual school is responsible for the roll-out of their own student/parent portal access.
