Entering kindergarten is an exciting milestone for a student and their family. Children who will be five years of age on or before September 2, 2024 are eligible to enroll in kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Please bring a copy of the following documents to your local school:

• Student’s Proof of Birth/Birth Certificate
• Current State of Alabama Immunization Documentation (Blue Card)
• Two Proofs of Residency in the Parent or Legal Guardian’s Name – Mortgage or Lease Agreement AND Current Utility Bill (Showing Physical Address)
• Parent or Legal Guardian’s Photo ID

In addition to visiting your school, all incoming kindergarten students must complete online registration. Visit this page to complete online registration.
