Hello Parents and Students,
My name is Ms. Renea Richardson-Fikes, and my passion is teaching. I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where champions are made. I'm blessed to have two handsome sons KeAndre' and Quinton a beautiful niece Zoey, and my little princess KaMora. I attended Central High School Home of the Flying Falcons. I'm a graduate of Alabama A&M University with a B.S. degree in Biology - Pre-Medicine track. I'm a graduate of Shelton State Community College with an Associates degree in Licensed Practical Nursing. I'm also a graduate of the University of West Alabama with a Masters degree in Instructional Leadership. My future plans are to become a National Board Certified Educator and to become the next doctor in my family. Dr. Richardson has a nice ring to it, don't you think?
I started my teaching career in August of 2004 in Sumter County. I left there in 2010 to join the awesome Holt Ironmen. As I strive to better myself, I always talk to my kids and push them to become better than me. My expectations are set high for my students because I know they have what it takes to pursue their dream. All they need is motivation, love, imagination, and confidence to get them going. It is an honor and a privilege to teach your child.
