Payment Options
The Tuscaloosa County Child Nutrition Department offers four ways to deposit money into your child's account.
OPTION 1: PAY ONLINE USING PayPAMS.com
This service is available for all Tuscaloosa County families whose children are enrolled in the county school system. PayPAMs is secure, easy and convenient to use. A per-deposit transaction fee to use this service (3rd party) is $1.95. Paying on-line allows you to check your student's lunch account balance and gives you the option to have an automatic recurring payment when the balance reaches a designated amount. You must allow up to 72 hours for an on-line payment to be credited to your student's lunch account. We strongly recommend a recurring payment or e-mail notification to be set for each account of no less than $6.00 to ensure that any funds deposited online reach your students's lunch account in a timely fashion.
OPTION 2: MOBILE DEVICE APP through PayPAMS
PayPAMS now offers an app for your smart phone. Parents or guardians can now view lunch account balances and also items purchased at the school cafeteria. PayPAMS ensures your money will go directly into your student's account. You can download the app at Google Play or iTunes by searching for "PayPAMS". Log into the PayPAMS app with the same username and password that you use for PayPAMS.
OPTION 3: CASH
Cash may be brought to the cafeteria and deposited directly into your student's lunch account. It is helpful for our employees if the cash is put in an envelope marked with your student's name, grade, lunch account number and amount.
OPTION 4: CHECK
Please make checks payable to your student's school cafeteria. The check may be brought to the cafeteria and deposited directly into your student's lunch account. Please make sure you put your student's name and lunch account number in the memo section of the check as well as your Driver's License number and phone number.
