My name is Lisa Clark.  I grew up in Northport, Alabama. I have a BS Degree from The University of Alabama in Home Economics Education and a Masters Degree from The University of Alabama in Library and Informational Services.  I worked for ten years at The University of Alabama Gorgas Library in Government Documents and have worked at Holt High School as the School Library Media Specialist since the 1998/1999 school year.

I love reading and I strive to demonstrate that love of reading to students by encouraging them to read, participate in the Battle of the Books, understand that reading is essential in life, and acknowledge each student's potential to become whomever they want to be as long as they work towards that goal. 

I have three beautiful girls, a son-in-law, a beautiful granddaughter, and a handsome grandson.

I enjoy reading, cooking, sewing, and spending time with all of my family.  God has truly blessed me in more ways than I can count!
