The mission of the Department of Curriculum & Instruction is to ensure that all students receive a rigorous, appropriate, and challenging course of instruction.  By providing support to administrators, teachers, and other staff in developing and following recognized standards for best practices our goal is to ensure that all of our classroom teachers provide instruction that meets the needs of our students.  The Tuscaloosa County School System is where our students LEARN, GROW, and ACHIEVE!
