• Hello! I’m Miss Long, a 5th grade teacher at Maxwell Elementary. This is my second year in 5th grade, and at Maxwell, and I am so excited! I graduated from UA, which means I am a fan of all things Alabama. I love the mountains and beautiful sunsets, since I am from Colorado. Dogs, llamas, and snickers are some of my favorite things, along with browsing the Target Dollar Spot. I am passionate about involving students in their learning and my classroom library! I love to laugh, eat ice cream (mint chocolate chip), and catch up on my favorite tv shows.
