• Hello, my name is Ashley Stone and I have been teaching at Maxwell Elementary since 2014.  I have taught every grade 1st-5th and this year I will be working as an interventionist in all grades. I graduated from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (K-6).  Prior to teaching full time I had an after school art program at Maxwell.  Because I enjoy art, I find as many ways as possible to incorporate it into my classroom!
     
    I am originally from Moundville, AL and graduated from Hale County High School.  My husband, Josh Stone, was born and raised in the Duncanville community and we have lived here since we married in 2002.  We have 3 precious children, Anna, Zachary, and Lucas who have all attended Maxwell Elementary.  In my opinion, there is no better school around!!
