    All About Mrs. Galloway:

I was born and raised in Winfield, Alabama, about 60 miles north of Northport.  I moved to Tuscaloosa in 1994 and have never gone back.  I have taught at Crestmont Elementary, Taylorville Primary and now at Flatwoods.  I have always taught Kindergarten or 1st grade.   I am married to John Galloway and our family has called Northport home for the last 20 years.  We have three wonderful children.  Sydney is our oldest daughter and attends Shelton State.  Our only son, J.T., is the manager at the GNC store in University Mall.   Our youngest, Mattie, is in 8th grade at Echols Middle School. We stay busy spending time together with family and friends.  We attend The Word Community Church where we are very active in local missions right here in Northport.

I have wanted to be a teacher since I started elementary school myself.  I remember going to school and then coming home and playing school. :)  I enjoy working with young kids and love watching them learn and grow.  It is truly amazing to see students when they learn something for the first time - that lightbulb moment.  I am so excited about this school year and getting to teach in this great community of Flatwoods.
