Jamie Evans

Hello! My name is Jamie Evans and I am proud to call Lloyd Wood Education Center my home. I have been blessed to teach at such a great school.  I am a Tuscaloosa native and graduated from Hillcrest High School. After graduating from University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education, I began my teaching career in 2001 in Memphis, TN in an expanded resource classroom.  I have been teaching at Sprayberry/Lloyd Wood Education Center since 2004.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy being with my family. My husband, Lee and I live in Northport with our kids--Houston, Jordan and Madeline. Our kids keep us very busy with their extracurricular activities! I do love to travel.

 It is my goal to create a safe learning environment that fosters positivity, collaboration and respect.
