Jessica Humphryes

My name is Jessica Humphryes. This is my fourth year at LWEC in the PreK-3 classroom. I am very excited about this school year! I look forward to teaching and inspiring the children @ Lloyd Wood Education Center.

I live in Moundville which is 13 miles south of Tuscaloosa. I have two children. Hudson is 11 and starting his first year of middle school at Hale County and Paisley is 6 and is a first grader at Big Sandy. They keep me very busy with baseball and cheerleading!!

I graduated from The University of Alabama (RTR) with a Bachelor’s degree in General and Special Elementary Education. I then added Early Childhood to my certification. I completed my Master’s degree at UWA in Early Childhood Education in December 2019. Early Childhood is my passion. I love the little ones!! This is my 13th year teaching. I am excited about another fantastic year here at LWEC!!!
