Brookwood Elementary

Welcome! I am so excited to have your child in my classroom this year. I began my teaching career at Brookwood Elementary School in 2013. Each year I look forward to teaching because I find my students enjoy learning and are very inquisitive. I have taught Kindergarten for 7 years and this will be my first year teaching 2nd grade. I am excited for the upcoming year!
 
I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in Consumer Science. In 2011, I received my Master's degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama. Before teaching, I worked as a para-educator in a pre-school classroom for 2 years and taught pre-school classes at my church. 

I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I love Alabama football, softball and baseball. Roll Tide! I also love to read and am a big Disney fan. I have three dogs: Dutchess, Brownie and Nestle.
