    I received my B.S. from The University of Alabama in Spring 2007 and my Masters from The University of West Alabama in 2014. I am "highly qualified" under the No Child Left Behind Act.
    Experience

    My first year of teaching I taught 2nd grade.  I was a math coach for one year. I have taught 3rd grade for 11 years. All my years of experience have been at Brookwood Elementary.
    Bio
    Hi! My name is Suzanne Watts. I am originally from Tuscaloosa. I was born and raised here. As a child, I attended Brookwood Elementary. So, Brookwood is like a second home to me.  After 6th grade, I transferred to Hillcrest Middle School and then went on to Hillcrest High School. I graduated from Hillcrest in 2002. After high school, I attended The University of Alabama. ROLL TIDE!! I started out majoring in Nursing, but later changed to Elementary Education because of my love for children. After teaching 5 years I decided to go back to school and obtain my Masters. My mother is a retired teacher and my dad teaches and coaches at Holy Spirit.
    In October 2010 I married Ryan Watts. August 2011 we welcomed our first child, Rylee. She is such a wonderful blessing. In May of 2016 we welcomed our son, Elijah, to complete our family of 4.
    I do not believe that I could have chosen a better profession. I love teaching and cannot see myself doing anything else.
