Welcome to Lake View Elementary School!!
At Lake View, teaching and learning come first. Everything we do is rooted in a commitment to celebrate the potential of each of each day in a community of learners. Our kindergarten to fifth grade experience comprises an exceptional academic program that fosters critical thinking, independence and strong problem solving skills. Our students and faculty can count on being asked for their very best and on being encouraged at every step along the way - all within a safe, structured environment.
The school is situated on thirty-two acres in McCalla near the Tannehill State Park and opened in 2008. Modeled after the iron works mill located in the park, the architecture of the school incorporates the use of natural elements indigenous of the region.
The heart of our school - our Media Center - supplements the curriculum as literacy, technology, science and skills are combined to enrich the educational opportunity of every student.
