Lake View Elementary School

Hello! My name is Leah Jackson.

I am a graduate of the University of Alabama. Roll Tide!!!

This is my 14th year of teaching at Lake View Elementary.  I have taught second grade and kindergarten. Before that, I taught preschool at Lakeview Learning Center.

I enjoy watching Alabama football, traveling, reading, and spending time with my family and friends! My husband Wes and I will celebrate our 14th year of marriage in December! We have been blessed with two beautiful children. Harper Kate is 8 years old and Maddox is 6 years old. We are also the proud parents, "owners", of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Pippa and a Labrador Retriever named Cash.

I am thrilled to begin a new adventure this school year! I really enjoy teaching second grade, as I believe it is where we set a good foundation on which children can base their academic school careers. I am a lifelong learner and want my students to become the same as well.
