Schools With No-Charge Meals for All Students

  • For the 2023-2024 school year, all students attending certain TCSS schools are eligible to receive school breakfast and lunch each school day, at no charge to families. This is made possible through the Community Eligibility Provision, which is a federal program that provides no-charge meals to students in areas that meet certain economic requirements. All students at these schools will receive meals at no charge, but this does not apply to faculty, staff, or visitors.

If your student attends one of the schools listed below, you should not complete a Meal Benefits Application for your student. Students attending these schools will automatically receive school breakfast and lunch at no charge.

If you have a student or students attending a TCSS school that is not listed here, you should complete a Meal Benefits Application. This applies even if you have another student attending one of the schools where all students receive free meals. To qualify for meal benefits at any school not listed below, a Meal Benefits Application must be completed.  Only one application should be completed per household.

What if my student's school is not listed above?

If your student's school is not listed here, you must complete a Meal Benefits Application for your student(s) to qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Even if you don't think your student will qualify, we encourage all families to complete the application as soon as possible, because your student(s) may be eligible for free or reduced-price school meals. The reduced price for breakfast is $0.30, and the reduced price for lunch is $0.40.

The online application is the preferred method, but you may request a paper application from your student's school.
