Hillcrest Middle Families,

I wanted to let you know that we have additional law enforcement officers on our campus today. This is not in response to any direct threat to the safety of our school. 

We received a concern about a situation that happened off-campus that involves one of our students. The presence of law enforcement provides support for our staff and students. 

There is no specific or direct threat to our school or students. We are thankful when anyone speaks up about a safety concern involving our students or schools. That is one of the most important ways you can help keep our students and schools safe.
