    This is my 21st year to teach.  I transferred from Vance Elementary School in 2006 to Taylorville Primary School.  I am so excited to be teaching at Big Sandy Elementary School again this year!

    I was born and raised in Monroeville, Alabama.  I attended Monroe Academy throughout elementary and high school.  I moved to Tuscaloosa in 1991 to pursue a degree in Business Management at The University of Alabama.  After graduating from college, I worked for the Boy Scouts of America as the Exploring Executive.  That is where I met my husband (Chris).  We were married in 1998.  I returned to the University of Alabama to pursue a Master's Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education.  We have 1 daughter(Anna).
