My name is Rebecca Harris and I teach Choir here at BMS!

  • My name is Rebecca Harris, and I am in my second year of teaching here at BMS! I am from Muscle Shoals, AL, and I went to the University of Alabama. I graduated in 2020 with my bachelor's degree in Vocal Music Education. I currently live in Birmingham with my husband, we have been married for two years. We love travelling together, and this past summer we hiked the entire Grand Canyon in one day! I have loved music for as long as I can remember, having grown up in a musical family. I am always trying to learning new things to develop my skills as a musician. Teaching music has been the most challenging, but rewarding thing I have ever done. I truly love the kids and helping them develop their skills makes every day exciting!
