    Rose Mary Ward is a Collaborative Special Education teacher at Brookwood Middle School in the self contained classroom. Mrs. Ward finished her Alternative Masters of Special Education degree from the University of West Alabama in May of 2020. Mrs. Ward is certified through the state of Alabama to teach Collaborative Special Education in grades 6-12. Mrs. Ward served as a Special Education Para-Educator for three years prior to accepting her current role. Rose Mary Ward was recognized as an Outstanding Support Employee for the Tuscaloosa County School System in her role as Special Education Para-Educator in January 2020.

    Rose Mary Ward is a christian wife and mother. Mrs. Ward has been married for 25 years to her husband Ryan. They have a son, George, who is entering his Senior year of high school at Brookwood. Mrs. Ward is the oldest of five children.

    Teaching is a passion for Mrs. Ward. She enjoys seeing the students become successful in their learning journey. Mrs. Ward actively teaches 4th & 5th grade at her church and has been an active leader in Scouts In previous years. Mrs. Ward's son is a Life Scout. George is actively pursuing his Eagle rank.
