Englewood Elementary School

Hello!  My name is Stormie Walker and I am the Technology Teacher here at Englewood.  This will be my 15th year at Englewood, and I can honestly say that there is just something special about this place. From the kids to the parents, faculty to the staff, we all work together to better our sweet students. I know how rare this is, and I consider it a privilege to be a part of this school family. I am so excited about the 2021-2022 year.  I know we will have another awesome year, and I can’t wait to watch the students learn, grow, and make memories.  

   I was born and raised in Tuscaloosa, so, yes, I am a BIG BAMA FAN....... ROLL TIDE!!!! I graduated from Holt High School in 2001.  After High School, I attended Shelton State Community College, The University of Alabama, and West Alabama. I received my degree in Elementary Education in August of 2006 and in 2014 I graduated from The University of West Alabama with a masters in Library Media. 

   I've been married to my husband Shawn for over 16 years. Together we have three beautiful, wonderful kids. I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my kids participate in sports, traveling, going to church, painting, shopping, and my favorite ---TALKING!
