It's so great to be at MES! I have taught in the TCSS for 18 years. This will be my fifth year at Matthews and my fourth year to teach 2nd grade. I previously taught 6th grade at Brookwood Middle School. I taught 6th grade math for 11 years and 6th grade social studies for 3 years. I taught 4th grade here at Matthews for 1 year. I am very excited about the 2022-2023 school year. I can't wait to meet my 2nd grade students!

A little about me....

I am from a large family! I am the second to the youngest of 10 kids! I have 4 older sisters, 4 older brothers, and 1 younger sister! I have been married for 12 years  My husband and I have one son who is 9 years old and will be in fourth grade at Vance Elementary School this year. I am a huge Alabama Crimson Tide fan! I am also a huge Mickey Mouse fan! In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, playing video games, reading, listening to music, and adding to my vast Mickey Mouse collection!
