Hello! My name is Kayla Carpenter. I am from Bloomington, IN. I am a Multiple Abilities Program alumni (MAP). I graduated from The University of Alabama in 2015 with a B.S. in Special Education K-6 and Elementary Education K-6. I recently graduated (Decemeber 2019) from The University of Alabama with a M.A. in Collaborative Special Education K-6. 

I love reading, traveling, and photography. I am an avid Alabama fan and I enjoy cheering on the Crimson Tide. Roll Tide! 

The 2020-2021 school year will be my sixth year at Matthews Elementary School. I am excited to continue working with the wonderful staff, students, and families at MES.
