Vance Elementary School

Students in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades take the ACT Aspire assessment during the spring semester.  During the school year, the students take periodic assesments that provide students and teacher with data to determine progress.  Please visit the ACT Aspire site to learn more.

Fourth and fifth grade students who score at or above the 95th percentile on the ACT Aspire test are eligible to join the Duke TIP program.  Students who qualify will be notified by the school counselor during the fall semster.  If your child qualifies and receives free or reduced lunch, please contact the counselor as there may be a fee waiver.
