The Tuscaloosa Music Club has been an Adopt-A-School Partner to Buhl Elementary for the past 30 years. Established in 1926 it has 22 active members. The Tuscaloosa Music Club provides support to our school and the community in a variety of ways. They are active in the community supporting the Arts and encouraging students to continue their love for music.
We are very THANKFUL to the Tuscaloosa Music Club for providing this support to our school. This year the members of the TMC have given their time to establish a choir. The choir has 48 members in the 3rd & 4th grades. They will perform for Veteran's Day and Christmas programs. They will be performing at the Radiology Clinic, local nursing homes, and the Tuscaloosa Music Clubs annual meeting.

- Members support Publix Partners which provides funding for Buhl Elementary
- Members collect Box Tops for Education and Campbell's labels
- Members help with Pre-K and Kindergarten lunches on the first days of school
- Sponsor students to attend musical performance by Shelton State Singers to see Bach to Rock program
- Provide snacks for students
- Read Across America
- Thanksgiving luncheon with students and parents
- Teacher's Appreciation Week
- WJRD radio AAS announcement
- Year end brunch for teachers
