    Education

    I hold a Bachelor's and Master's Degree from the University of Alabama in Elementary Education. Roll Tide!
    Experience

    Before joining the faculty of Faucett-Vestavia Elementary, I taught at Brookwood Elementary for 10 years.  While at Brookwood, I taught Kindergarten, first grade, second grade, reading intervention and was reading coach.  The majority of my experience falls in the area of first grade.  I have been teaching at Faucett Vestavia for several years and am currently teaching 2nd grade. I have been teaching for 23 years.



    Bio
    I live in Northport with my husband, Jason and we have two beautiful daughters.  My oldest is a sophomore at UNA this year and my youngest is a sophomore at TCHS.  We also have a minature long haired dachshund named Buddy, who is a big part of our family.  I absolutely love the beach!  One of my favorite things to do is travel and vacation with my family!  I enjoy exploring new places around the United States.  I also enjoy reading, cooking, and watching the Alabama football.
