I was born, raised, and still live in Northport, AL.  I attended Flatwoods Elementary, Lloyd Wood Middle School, and Tuscaloosa County High School where I was a majorette. Go Wildcats!!!! I am so excited to be teaching at the school I grew up going to. I love to play the piano, read, and spend time with my family and friends.

 

I attend Indian Lake Baptist Church and Church of the Highlands where I love to worship my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  I co-direct the summer day camp we hold every summer for students who have finished kindergarten-6th grade.

 

This will be my seventh year teaching at Flatwoods. I have taught 3rd grade for five years and this will be my second year teaching 5th grade. I will be shadowing our principal, Ms. Mary Jean Sutton, at various times this school year as I gain experience from her as I pursue my Masters in Instructional Leadership through the University of West Alabam.
