I wanted to let you know that we have additional law enforcement officers on our campus today, as a measure of extra support and security for our students, faculty, and staff. This is because we received information about a threatening comment made by student, toward another student. The students involved in the situation are not on campus today. Privacy laws prevent us from discussing specifics of student discipline, but please know any student who makes comments regarding the safety of our students or school faces consequences under our student code of conduct. Again, the additional law enforcement on campus is here as an extra layer of support for our school today. 

 

We are so thankful when anyone speaks up about a safety concern involving our students or schools. That is one of the most important ways you can help keep our students and schools safe.
