Collins-Riverside Intermediate School

Ms. Samantha Green became the assistant principal of Collins-Riverside Intermediate School in 2023. Ms. Green began her career in education in 2013. She earned a Bachelor of Science in English Language Arts certification and a Master of Arts Degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of West Alabama. She will complete her Educational Specialist Degree in Elementary and Secondary Administration from Auburn University in December 2024. 

Ms. Green started her teaching career in Wilcox County, Alabama, at Wilcox Central High School. She taught tenth and eleventh-grade English and the ninth-grade AVID Elective course. She also taught eighth-grade English in Butler County at Greenville Middle School and seventh-grade English in Northport at Collins-Riverside Middle and Echols Middle School. Ms. Green was offered the assistant principal position in 2023 and has loved every moment since!

 

Ms. Green is the "dog mom" of a 7-year-old labrador/pit bull mix, Obi. In her spare time, she enjoys getting a PR in the gym, playing tennis, and listening to ambient music.

 

Ms. Green is excited to be an integral part of Riverside and loves coming to work every day!
