Cottondale Elementary School

Hey!! My name is Mrs. Battle and I am a Pre-K Auxiliary teacher, and teach with Miss. Hicks. I have been at Cottondale for 5 years now, and love my Cottondale family. I graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2014 with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I grew up in Hoover, AL. I was raised by my mother, who is also an educator, and my dad, who was a Hoover Police Lieutenant. I also have 2 sister, and am a very family-oriented person.

I am married to an amazing husband, Chad Battle, who is a Mechanical Engineer, and have 2 fur babies (Sox & Minnie) that love to death. My husband and I have been married for 4 years, this coming December. I love spoiling my cats and bird watching in my backyard. My favorite birds to watch in my backyard are the Northern Cardinals. A few more of my interests include: spending time with my family, reading, jigsaw puzzles, and a lot of crafting.

I am very excited to see what this year holds at Cottondale!
