Welcome to 5th Grade! I look forward to having you in my class and would like to tell you a little about myself.  I have been teaching for 18 years, 15 of which have been in 4th Grade. I have previously taught 5th grade and I'm looking forward to returning this year! I have been at Walker Elementary for 7 years and absolutely love the WES family!! I hold a Master's Degree and Ed.S. in education, both from UAB.  I am married to Ricky, have 2 grown girls and 4 grandchildren.   I really enjoy teaching all subjects, but my favorite is math.  I look forward to teaching 5th grade and getting to know those of you I don't already know. Let's make it a GREAT year!!
